Canada Day is Saturday July 1st this year.

150 years ago, On July 1, 1867 Canada became a new federation with its own constitution by signing the Constitution Act – formerly known as the British North America Act.

Starting June 21st, an eleven-day commemoration of Canada’s 150th birthday runs until July 1, 2017! Starting on Wednesday, June 21st at Ship’s Point in Victoria’s Inner Harbour and culminating on Saturday, July 1st on the Legislature Lawn, Spirit of 150 Victoria, City of Victoria, and the Canada’s 150th Anniversary of Confederation are proud to present eleven days of multicultural artistry, diverse food and beverage offerings, and live music. As always, Canada Day will end with a massive firework display!

The Pedaler’s contribution to the 150 Celebration is a focus on Victoria’s unique craft beer history! This town is the cradle of the craft beer revolution, and to celebrate Canada’s 150th Birthday we invite you to pedal along with us on the first-in-Canada, Craft Beer Tasting Tour by Bicycle! Learn about our local craft beer history, explore the Brewery District, and sample some fresh beer at 3 different locations around town.
