This self-guided tour takes you from our shop in Victoria’s beautiful Inner Harbour to the world famous Butchart Gardens. Enjoy the Gardens for as long as you like and then hop back on your bike and pedal back to town using maps that we provide. You’ll be riding our fast All-Road bikes which have aluminium frames and carbon forks and following dedicated bike paths and scenic, low-traffic roads through the Victoria countryside. This tour combines the best of rural cycling, the car-free Lochside Trail, the famous gardens, and great options for lunch within the Gardens and on the Saanich Peninsula.
The riding time depends on how quickly you want to cycle. This tour includes our Norco Search All-Road bicycles, admission to Butchart Gardens, helmet, bicycle lock, maps and a bottle of water.
This tour starts at our shop and you can depart when you would like. Keep in mind, you will want enough time to enjoy the cycle out there, experience the gardens at your own pace and then allocate enough time to get back to our shop before close.
We can also provide information to extend the cycling if you would like to experience a more challenging ride on low traffic roads where the local roadies ride.
